IAWIND Offers Matching Funds for Iowa-based Wind Energy Company Internships
Many of today’s college students are interested in pursuing wind energy careers and will benefit from programs that will assist them in reaching their goals.
In response to the need for a growing wind energy workforce in Iowa and the need to introduce students to the wind energy business through work experiences, IAWIND has established the Summer 2010 Wind Energy Internship Funding Opportunity.
The funding opportunity is for Iowa-based industries participating in any of the following areas of the wind energy business: original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), component suppliers to wind energy OEMs, wind energy project developers, and wind farm operators.
